Jewelry Party!

Hello everyone! I know it's been a while since we have posted anything on this blog, so if there is anyone still checking it out and looking for a way to help, we have another event coming up. A friend of Jami's who is a Premier Jewelry consultant has offered to do a jewelry party and give ALL of the proceeds to Jami! The party is going to be in Sierra Vista this coming Tuesday, October 27th at 6:30pm. If you can make it, please email me at tulips3333@hotmail.com and I can get you the address and further information. (please put in the subject line of the email "Jami's jewelry part" so I don't delete your email) At the party, we will also be holding a small silent auction of items that have been donated as well. Lastly, if you won't be able to make the party, but would like to order something, email me and we can work something out! :)
Thanks!

Hey everyone I am working on this book for Kason still. I would like to have more stories. Please email me actual stories of you and Kameron. They don't have to be long or life altering. An example is that one time Kam and I stayed up till 3am throwing apricots at semi trucks! Nothing too great but it will be fun for Kason to know his dad did something like that. Please email stories to kammemories@gmail.com Thanks so much!

Photography Raffle

On August 19th, 2009, people all across the country were shocked, stunned, and heartbroken at the news of Kameron Haban passing away. On that day, we lost a husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Not only did we loose a great friend, but Kason lost a great father and Jami lost her best friend, her eternal companion.

When Kameron passed away Jami's life fell apart. How was she going to take care of Kason all by herself? Where was she going to live? How was she going to afford all the medical bills and pay for a new life?

To help out with the costs there have been quite a few ways to donate money. There is the direct donation to any Bank of America or through PayPal. There will be a couple silent auctions to help out. And on September 25th, there will be a Benefit Concert at EAC in Thatcher.

And now, there is another way. All across Arizona and in Utah, photographers have come together to help out as much as possible. There is a Photography Raffle that has been going on for a couple weeks now and has already raised a few hundred dollars.

Here is how the raffle will work. For every $10 you donate you get entered into the photo raffle (If you donate $20, you get put in twice etc.). On September 26th, we will announce the winners of the raffle. Listed below are all the photographers and links to their blogs where they have more information about the raffle. Please click on the photographer servicing your area for more information.

Erin Householder Photography - Servicing the Gila Valley area.

Halversen Photography - Servicing the Gila Valley area.

Paxman Photography - Servicing the Phoenix Metro and White Mountains area.

Brian Downer Photography - Servicing the East Valley area.

Miner Photography - Servicing the Provo Utah area.

Sur-Real Photography - Servicing Arizona.

Please check out each photographers blog and website. Each and every one is extremely talented and all offer different looks, styles, and visions. You will not be disappointed.

The amount of help and gratitude that has been shown for Jami has been astounding. People all across the Nation have been reaching out their hands to help. Offering a place to stay, offering money, and giving prayers and love. It always amazes me how much one person can make a difference. How much one person is able to brighten up someones life when in depressing times. I'd like to take this time to thank everyone who has helped out whether it be by organizing a Benefit Concert, putting together a silent auction, donating money, opening up your homes, giving a little prayer, whatever you did, however big or small, it all adds up. So thank you.

With Love,
Jeremy Davies

Jami's brother is an incredibly gifted photographer and has generously started a fundraiser on his own photography website. All the profits from the sale of his landscape protraits from now until October 31st, 2009 will be donated to the Haban family. They are really breathtaking, so go check them out!

You can go here to take a peek and there is also a new button on the sidebar that will take you there as well.

Thanks Jeremy!

Illustration

This illustration was made by Kameron's friend Dustin in his memory. I thought it was amazing and really captured the Kameron that so many of us loved back in the good old EA days, and thought you all would enjoy it as well.

Thanks for letting me put it on here Dustin!

this is being moved to CAMILLE's HOME!

I am so grateful for all of you wonderful people and the great friends the Haban's have. I have seen your comments on Jami's blog and heard of your prayers and donations that you have shared with this dear family. I am humbled by your kindness and generosity. You are truly an example to me.
Alot of people have expressed interest of how else they could help Jami & Kason. Here you go:)...
Tuesday 8/25 we are going to get together at Camille's house- email me if you need her address (laurdacooj@hotmail.com) at 9 am.
We are going to brainstorm. We are going to hold a silent auction on September 19th and we need help collecting the items. There is also going to be a benefit concert in September as well that we need help getting things ready with. We also want your ideas. If you would like to help, but live far away, I was thinking that we could include you in a conference call or messenger or something, because we have ideas of things people could do far away as well.
Again, THANK YOU, for helping Jami with your love & support.
Love, Laurel
