Photography Raffle

On August 19th, 2009, people all across the country were shocked, stunned, and heartbroken at the news of Kameron Haban passing away. On that day, we lost a husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Not only did we loose a great friend, but Kason lost a great father and Jami lost her best friend, her eternal companion.

When Kameron passed away Jami's life fell apart. How was she going to take care of Kason all by herself? Where was she going to live? How was she going to afford all the medical bills and pay for a new life?

To help out with the costs there have been quite a few ways to donate money. There is the direct donation to any Bank of America or through PayPal. There will be a couple silent auctions to help out. And on September 25th, there will be a Benefit Concert at EAC in Thatcher.

And now, there is another way. All across Arizona and in Utah, photographers have come together to help out as much as possible. There is a Photography Raffle that has been going on for a couple weeks now and has already raised a few hundred dollars.

Here is how the raffle will work. For every $10 you donate you get entered into the photo raffle (If you donate $20, you get put in twice etc.). On September 26th, we will announce the winners of the raffle. Listed below are all the photographers and links to their blogs where they have more information about the raffle. Please click on the photographer servicing your area for more information.

Erin Householder Photography - Servicing the Gila Valley area.

Halversen Photography - Servicing the Gila Valley area.

Paxman Photography - Servicing the Phoenix Metro and White Mountains area.

Brian Downer Photography - Servicing the East Valley area.

Please check out each photographers blog and website. Each and every one is extremely talented and all offer different looks, styles, and visions. You will not be disappointed.

The amount of help and gratitude that has been shown for Jami has been astounding. People all across the Nation have been reaching out their hands to help. Offering a place to stay, offering money, and giving prayers and love. It always amazes me how much one person can make a difference. How much one person is able to brighten up someones life when in depressing times. I'd like to take this time to thank everyone who has helped out whether it be by organizing a Benefit Concert, putting together a silent auction, donating money, opening up your homes, giving a little prayer, whatever you did, however big or small, it all adds up. So thank you.

With Love,
Jeremy Davies
(Jami's brother)

  1. I thought the concert at EA was on the 26th. Did it get changed?

  3. I am trying to make a donation but not familiar with pay pal. I would like to go the Bank of America rout. However when I got there they could not find Jami's name.. Can I get more info on that. I have people giving me money and I want to get it in the account.
    Thanks

  4. From what I've heard, make sure that they aren't looking in the donation/non-profit group. This is just a regular bank account.

And it might be under Jamilyn(Lynn) Haban to Benefit Kameron Haban. Give those a try and see what happens.

    =)
